1. What documents are required to rent a car?
To rent a car, you need a valid driver’s license and a credit card issued in your name with online usage enabled. Debit cards are not accepted. A pre-authorization (deposit) will be taken from the credit card registered in the renter's name.
2. What is the minimum rental period?
The minimum rental period is 24 hours. Even for rentals shorter than this duration, a one-day fee will be charged.
3. What happens if I exceed the return time?
If the vehicle is not returned on time, an additional one-day rental fee will be charged for delays exceeding 2 hours.
4. Can someone else drive the vehicle?
No. Only the person(s) named in the rental agreement are allowed to drive the vehicle. If you wish to add an additional driver, you must provide their ID and driver’s license information and pay an additional service fee.
5. What is the deposit amount, and how is it collected?
The deposit amount varies depending on the vehicle group. This amount is pre-authorized from the renter's credit card in their own name.
6. What does the insurance cover, and what does it not cover?
The vehicles are covered by CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), fire, and theft insurance. However, for the insurance to be valid, rental rules must be strictly followed. The insurance will be void in the following cases:

The vehicle is driven under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Required reports are not obtained after an accident.

The vehicle is used by unauthorized individuals.

Traffic rules are violated.
7. Can I purchase additional insurance coverage?
Yes. You can purchase the following optional coverages:

MI (Mini Damage Protection): Covers damages up to 7,500₺ without a police report.

SCDW (Super Collision Damage Waiver): Covers damages up to 12,500₺ without a police report.

LCF (Tire, Glass, Headlight Protection): Provides additional protection for these parts.
8. Can I pick up or drop off the vehicle outside the office?
Yes. For an additional fee, you can pick up or drop off your vehicle at a specified address (one-way, hotel delivery, outside working hours, etc.).
9. Is smoking allowed in the vehicle?
No. Smoking inside the vehicle is prohibited. If there are signs of smoking (odor, stains, or burns), a detailed cleaning fee will be charged.
10. How are tolls, highway, and traffic fines paid?
The renter is responsible for all toll, parking, and traffic fines incurred during the rental period. These charges will be collected from the credit card provided at the end of the rental.
11. Who is responsible for items left in the vehicle?
AytuCar is not responsible for items left in the vehicle. Please make sure to collect all your personal belongings when returning the vehicle.
12. Can I take the vehicle abroad?
No. Rented vehicles are not allowed to be taken outside the borders of Turkey.
